Utah Technology Council - Annual Members’ Meeting

Meg Whitman, President & CEO of eBay, to speak

Join the Utah Technology Council for its Annual Members’ Meeting as we celebrate the triumphs of the last 12 months and our priorities going forward. Also as part of this event:

Meg Whitman, President & CEO of eBay, will provide a keynote address. UTC thanks Congressman Chris Cannon for extending a personal invitation. Ms. Whitman joined eBay as president and CEO in March 1998 when the company was still a small auction website with 30 employees and revenues of $4 million. She has helped this Internet pioneer evolve into an unparalleled global e-commerce engine that continues to influence and reshape the way people trade, pay and communicate around the world.

UTC will present several awards including: CEO, CTO, Sales Exec, HR Exec, Emerging Executive and Legislator of the Year awards. To nominate a peer, please email Amanda Bills (abills@utahtech.org) with the name of your nomination and a brief explanation of why.

The UTC leadership will provide a brief presentation on the results of our efforts for the last 12 months and areas of focus for the coming 12 months.

As with a corporate shareholders’ meeting, UTC technology members will elect a slate of trustees for the coming year, and new Board officers will be announced.
